Mitsubishi Cars Features: 2019 Update (1/2)


We are here to bring the news of 2 Mitsubishi cars that arrive with new features in 2019. Here we see a mixture of SUV and the hybrid series.

Mitsubishi ASX 



Holding their position as a top seller in the competitive SUV market, Mitsubishi is now attempting to give the ASX a spot in their 2019 update. Those who were a fan of the 2018 version, you will be happy to know the 2019 ASX retains its prototypical features along with introducing a five-speed manual transmission, two ISOFIX and three top tether child seat mounts.

The electronic brake has been enhanced with force distribution technology alongside traction and stability control. The 18-inch alloy wheels now come with a new silver painted finish. The integrated cruise control system makes your journey both smooth and safe. Smartphone Link Display Audio has been introduced which incorporates Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

2019 Highlights:

 


  • A better driver’s seat with a front seat heating facility.
  • Introducing features like leather seat trim, a panoramic roof, LED ambient lighting, chrome exhaust tip, six-speaker audio and blind spot warning. 
  • A carryover 2.0-litre aspirated petrol engine producing 110kW of power and 197Nm powering the front wheels. Fuel consumption remains unchanged at 7.7 L/100km for the manual and 7.6 L/100km for the automatic.
  • Continuously variable transmission (CVT).
  • The 2.2 L Turbodiesel Power Engines are removed.

Overall, the new ASX 2019 has a fairly unique acceleration performance with no turbo or diesel issues making it a great choice if you’re new to crossover markets.


Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV



The new Mitsubishi Outlander plug-in hybrid series could be an affordable solution you’re looking for in 2019. Capable of going 30 miles charging once, it is much cheaper than its predecessors. Being the world’s first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle with DC Fast Charging facility, it takes only 4 hours to charge.

2019 Highlights: 

 

  • A 2.4-litre petrol engine has replaced the 2.0-litre petrol. Having a bigger motor at the rear and larger batteries, it has a very economical power gain. New bumpers have been introduced at the back.
  • Modernised steering and revised suspension have been added for handling the hybrid system. The boot space is a very reasonable 463 litres, providing a big load area. 
  • Among other features are leather seats, a power tailgate and 360-degree camera. 
  • The engine’s 14 bhp (Brake Horse Power) is more powerful than before, the rear motor has an advantage of 13 bhp over its predecessor. 
  • Supports “Multimode eTransmission” under heavy acceleration. 
  • LTP fuel-economy tests: A CO2 output of 46g/km with an average fuel economy of 141mpg, and a range of upto 28 miles in EV mode. 
Overall, the performance of new Outlander PHEV with its twin electric motors and a highly efficient petrol engine make it more popular than the previous one. The simultaneous switching of the drive modes and the innovative technology offers efficiency and comfort, smooth ride.
