Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross 2019

 

Overview

With the release of “The Fast and the Furious” in 2001, MITSUBISHI gained huge popularity with their original Eclipse sports car. MITSUBISHI is finally back with their Eclipse series after decades, not with the sports cars, but all new SUVs.

The 2018 Eclipse crossover has joined the ASX and Outlander as the company’s city-focused, more mainstream crossover line-up. The new Eclipse Cross 2019 comes with new turbocharged engines alongside an 8-speed Continuously Variable Transmission, featuring sports mode.

2019 Highlights:

• MITSUBISHI Eclipse Cross comes with a smooth front fascia. Leading from the top, the SEL trim comes with LED headlights, LED low and high daytime running lights, and the usual MITSUBISHI grill with its distinctive chrome line.
• With a wheelbase of 106.4 inches, you can easily stretch out your legs.  Measuring at 175.5 inches, it is 3 inches longer than the Outlander Sport and 9 inches shorter than the bigger Outlander. It runs a 1.5 MIVEC + Direct Injection Turbo Charged 4-cylinder engine that produces up to 152 horsepower and a torque of 184 lb-ft.
• MITSUBISHI Eclipse Cross 2019’s Continuous Variable Automatic Transmission (CVT) does the job of maximising the propelling force. If you want manual gearing, the paddle shifters on the steering wheel will allow you to do so.

Overall, the 2019 Eclipse gives you a family friendly driving experience with the elevated driving position on bumpy roads, through bends, leans and freeways.

 Mitsubishi GT-PHEV: The future concept

Overview

The newest concept of Mitsubishi PHEV is called the Ground Tourer-PHEV (GT-PHEV) and it has Mitsubishi’s next-generation plug-in hybrid system. With 25-kilowatt-hour high-capacity batteries and an estimated 75 miles coverage, it has surpassed all the other models in its class.

2019 Highlights:

We are here to bring the news of 2 Mitsubishi cars that arrive with new features in 2019. Here we see a mixture of SUV and the hybrid series.

Mitsubishi ASX 

Holding their position as a top seller in the competitive SUV market, Mitsubishi is now attempting to give the ASX a spot in their 2019 update. Those who were a fan of the 2018 version, you will be happy to know the 2019 ASX retains its prototypical features along with introducing a five-speed manual transmission, two ISOFIX and three top tether child seat mounts.

The electronic brake has been enhanced with force distribution technology alongside traction and stability control. The 18-inch alloy wheels now come with a new silver painted finish. The integrated cruise control system makes your journey both smooth and safe. Smartphone Link Display Audio has been introduced which incorporates Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

2019 Highlights:

 

• A better driver’s seat with a front seat heating facility.
• Introducing features like leather seat trim, a panoramic roof, LED ambient lighting, chrome exhaust tip, six-speaker audio and blind spot warning. 
• A carryover 2.0-litre aspirated petrol engine producing 110kW of power and 197Nm powering the front wheels. Fuel consumption remains unchanged at 7.7 L/100km for the manual and 7.6 L/100km for the automatic.
• Continuously variable transmission (CVT).
• The 2.2 L Turbodiesel Power Engines are removed.

Overall, the new ASX 2019 has a fairly unique acceleration performance with no turbo or diesel issues making it a great choice if you’re new to crossover markets.

Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV

The new Mitsubishi Outlander plug-in hybrid series could be an affordable solution you’re looking for in 2019. Capable of going 30 miles charging once, it is much cheaper than its predecessors. Being the world’s first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle with DC Fast Charging facility, it takes only 4 hours to charge.

2019 Highlights: 

 

• A 2.4-litre petrol engine has replaced the 2.0-litre petrol. Having a bigger motor at the rear and larger batteries, it has a very economical power gain. New bumpers have been introduced at the back.
• Modernised steering and revised suspension have been added for handling the hybrid system. The boot space is a very reasonable 463 litres, providing a big load area. 
• Among other features are leather seats, a power tailgate and 360-degree camera. 
• The engine’s 14 bhp (Brake Horse Power) is more powerful than before, the rear motor has an advantage of 13 bhp over its predecessor. 
• Supports “Multimode eTransmission” under heavy acceleration. 
• LTP fuel-economy tests: A CO2 output of 46g/km with an average fuel economy of 141mpg, and a range of upto 28 miles in EV mode. 

Overall, the performance of new Outlander PHEV with its twin electric motors and a highly efficient petrol engine make it more popular than the previous one. The simultaneous switching of the drive modes and the innovative technology offers efficiency and comfort, smooth ride.

Mitsubishi Car Financing Options: Bank or Dealership?

Whether you’re looking at buying new or used, buying a car can be quite expensive for the majority of people. Ideally, you’d make the purchase in ‘cash’, with money you are already in possession of, but unfortunately, this is not a realistic proposition for a lot of buyers. Instead, some sort of car financing is necessary, where the money is essentially borrowed from a financial institution to be paid back at a later date. Obviously, if you are going down this track, it’s important to consider both options and find out which is the most cost-effective and convenient option given your specific situation. This article will take a look at some of the main differences between the two and why you may go one way or the other.

Financing Through a Dealership

Generally speaking, the main benefit of financing through a dealership is the speed at which it all gets done. It’s quick, it’s convenient and it allows you to drive the car right out of there without further discussion.  

If you are borrowing through a bank or financial institution, you will need to have this all organised prior to heading to the dealership if you want to make it happen that day. Particularly when it comes to used cars, it’s not uncommon to see an interested party have to walk away from a deal because they have yet to procure financing, only for the car to be sold a day later to someone else. In fact, this is the main reason dealerships offer financing, as a service to customers that are in need of it then and there.

It’s not uncommon to see dealerships offer special promotions, with 0% interest for the first year, for instance. This simply doesn’t happen when going through a bank.

Furthermore, some dealerships will essentially do the leg work for you, shopping around to find the best rate for you. This enables them to offer a number of deals from which you can choose from – Mitsubishi finance deal, for instance, is particularly flexible and can be negotiated.

Our advice would be to do your homework and research as much as possible. There are good reasons to choose to go through either a car dealership or a bank but to get the best Mitsubishi finance deals you have to search and know what you’re looking for. Check that there are no hidden fees (dealerships may try to sneak this in), be sure about the duration of the loan and read the fine print and you give yourself the best chance of getting cost effective car financing.
